Tango Express
Includes:
1 orientation session of the current tango scene, including what teachers, classes, workshops, & festivals are currently on offer, and which milongas might be best for you, plus tips on how to get the most out of your tango experience here, (this can be done over afternoon coffee/tea, or before a night at the milonga)
general orientation of the city, including public transit and recommendations for food, drink, & sightseeing
a list of the best places to buy your tango gear (shoes, dresses, trousers, etc)
2 nights of ‘Tango Accompaniment’. We take you out to 2 different milongas that will give you a sense of the diversity of the tango scene here (approx 3 hours each night)
Price: $150 per person. Email us more info on prices for larger groups.
*entrance fees to the milongas plus any refreshments purchased there are not included in the price.
Tango Deluxe
Includes:
1 orientation session of the current tango scene, including what teachers, classes, workshops, & festivals are currently on offer, and which milongas might be best for you, plus tips on how to get the most out of your tango experience here (this can be done over afternoon coffee or tea, or before a night at the milonga)

Hi! I’m Tracy Stafford, founder of To Be in Buenos Aires & official tango addict!
I’ve been dancing something since I was a child - ballet, jazz, contemporary, contact improvisation - and ever since I began dancing tango in 2015, there’s no going back! I remember what my first trip here (also in 2015) was like - I knew nothing about the city, I was a beginner tanguera, and I had not doen a lot of travelling on my own for quite some time.
Previous to my move here, I owned & directed a Pilates & Yoga studio in Western Canada (my homeland!) for 20 years. Before that, I was a professional contemporary dancer in Toronto. It should come as a surprise to no one that tango swept me off my feet!
